Summer Reading Program Have you never read a collection of short stories or essays? Now is your chance with the 5th challenge of our summer reading program, Read Off the Beaten Path! 'That's What I Like (About the South)' is a collection of thirty-one stories that weave together themes that underscore what being Southern is all about: the retelling of the past, the uncertainty of the future, the haunting presence of racial guilt, the inescapable influence of family-for better or worse, the struggle for survival, and the tragedy and humor of Southern life. Stop in to read this or another book in our collection to complete the 5th challenge. Don’t like any of the books in our collection? Feel free to read a book from home!
