At the inn, you will also discover a piece of history that may just surprise you - that our very own Malvern is not the only town of that name! That's right! In fact, the quaint village of Malvern, England is where "Inklings" J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis met at the real-world Unicorn Inn to converse over their inspirations for two of the greatest stories in modern English literature - The Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia! Just outside the inn is an old gas lantern that even helped inspire Lewis in his writing of Narnia.
