Meow Everyone!
My name is Thistle. I’m the new library kitten. (I was born on 9/11/22.) When Mom goes to work, so do I. In the morning I ride in the car to Malvern. My Mom drives to the Post Office to check the mail for the library. She makes me stay in the car. I think I should be able to get out and look around, but Mom says, “No, you stay.” After Mom grabs the mail, she hops in the car with me and drives us to the Malvern Public Library. Then she carries me to the building. There are lots of loud sounds. These big things my Mom calls trucks come rumbling through the streets. I get a little scared, but Mom holds me tight and tells me it’s okay. It makes me feel a little better. Once we are inside the library, I feel very safe and that’s where my food, water, and bunny basket resides. Sometimes I sleep in my bunny basket and sometimes I like to sleep in Mom’s paperwork basket. Both are comfy for me. There are lots of neat things that go on at the library. I especially love all the snuggly people. I would love to see you if you can come to say, “Hi.” Well, that’s all I have for this week. Next time I’ll tell you a bit more about what happens at the library. Until next time, take care, and thank you for reading my Library Tails. Thistle – Your Library Kitten
